Microsoft's just revealed some facts about Halo Wars during its presentation at technology show CES 2009. Two facts - the US release date and the worldwide demo release date.

I've already foolishly blown both facts in the headline, so I'll just go over them once again here. Halo Wars, the strategy-based spin-off set in the Halo universe, is launching in the US on February 28. That's a Saturday, so we'd imagine the UK release will be one day earlier on the 27th.

And if you're not so set on getting a strategy-based Halo developed by a team that isn't Bungie, there will be a demo on Xbox Live to try on Feb 5. That's the best and most interesting news we have managed to find today.
