(Some) Xbox Live Arcade games playable for free, thanks to the "Friendship is Free" deal
Microsoft's launched a new promotional thing that's letting gamers of all levels of Xbox Live membership play against each other online for free.
Throughout December, generous Microsoft is letting cheapskate Xbox Live Silver gamers play online in eight Xbox Live games for nothing, opening up an exciting world of being verbally abused by complete strangers as they cheat their way to victory.
These are the games you'll be able to pay without giving Microsoft £5 a month for the privilege...
- A Kingdom for Keflings
- Aegis Wing
- Bomberman Live
- Hardwood Hearts
- Hardwood Spades
- UNO
- Small Arms
- Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
A fairly duff list, with the notable exception of the flawed-but-great Bomberman and the obviously-decent Street Fighter II. At least people who get Xbox 360s for Christmas will be able to play something against other real people without having to pay for a subscription, even if it is only Hardwood Spades.
