It can't have escaped your notice that there's a new version of the Xbox 360 dashboard launching in a couple of weeks. The so-called "New Xbox Experience" has seen one of Microsoft's biggest information pushes of the last few years. We cannot move on the internet without seeing screenshots of Avatars, new windows, previews and MS staff raving about the forthcoming dash refresh.

And here's more. A video explaining how Avatars may be incorporated into the video games of the future, plus an outline of their creation and the idea behind the whole thing.

The new dash launches on November 19, as you're no doubt sick of being told. Expect at least three videos a day about its benefits from now until then, as Microsoft boosts its engines to PR FACTOR 10 in preparation.
