Left 4 Dead demo coming in early November

l4d_hospital04_interior0108_tga_jpgcopy.jpgA demo for Left 4 Dead will arrive sometime in early November, before the game comes out November 17th in the States, or November 21st in the UK. The demo will apparently include the first couple of levels of the game, where players have to battle their way to the top of Mercy Hospital. The demo will pack in the opening intro movie and we've already heard that it'll support both multiplayer and single-player play.

Left 4Dead has been getting a lot of positive preview press and I'm looking forward to seeing how it works out in practice. Valve has pretty good quality control on the whole. OK, so Counrt-strike: Condition Zero, Blue Shift, and Sin Episodes: Emergence weren't exactly classics, but none of them were embarrassing. But when Valve gets it right, they really get it right, with Half Life 2, Portal, a nd TF2 providing some of the best FPS action available on the 360.
