Honestly I don't see what's so wrong with these. All you're doing is making an assumption about the wearer's intentions; to advertise/support. Really? Is that the only reason you can come up with? How about personal identity - gamers do it all the time, heck I even do it. We get game tshirts, to wear as part of our identity as a gamer. It is an outward expression of our tastes. What's so wrong with that? Why not shoes? Personally I like the logo but don't like the design of the shoes, they look a bit lumpen to me, but I have no problem with the concept. If someone likes this game enough that they consider it a part of them, then power to them if they want to show the world by wearing it on their feet, or as a tshirt, or whatever they want!

Or heck, even if they want to advertise it. Why must you bemoan everything other people do that doesn't meet your oh-so high standards? It doesn't make you particularly likeable, it just makes you look venom-spittingly negative.

LOL I SO agree with you. My husband and I play this game all the time. It's one of the only games I can really get into and love. I'm not one of those gamer nerds so me liking a game is pretty rare. Since it's almost an every day thing for us, it is a part of our lives, and since I am very picky about the shoes I buy-and I'm not a girly girl who has a million stupid pairs of shoes-I will be buying these shoes next week. Every single review I've read about these have been extremely positive. Everybody advertises in some way so go whine about it somewhere else, it's a damn shoe, cry me a river, build a bridge, and get over it!
