Call of Duty: World at War multiplayer beta IS GO GO GO NOW NOW NOW

call-of-duty-5-world=at=war=beta-test.jpgHonestly, you don't even need to buy full games any more, what with the vast number of free "beta tests" going on at any one time, as developers use you lot as little more than GUINEA PIGS to see if their games work properly.

The latest game to get the free trial option is Call of Duty 5, with Xbox 360 and PC multiplayer betas now live and ready for action. You'll have to go over here and suffer the minor inconvenience of registering first, mind.

Then it'll be all go in CoD5. You can see if Treyarch has buggered up all the good work done by Infinity Ward on CoD4 last year, or if everything's still OK with the world's favourite shooting/swearing/war franchise. The full game's out on November 14, which makes this more "publicity stunt" than actually worthwhile "test."
