UK Xbox 360 sales GO UP thanks to price cut
There are two parts to this sales news. I will break it down into two separate paragraphs, for easier reading comprehension and greater impact of the TRUTH.
PART ONE: Xbox 360 sales rose by 32% in the weekend following last Friday's price cut and the arrival of some pretty sweet deals in the country's game shops.
PART TWO: Sales of PlaySation3 fell by 8% over the same period, almost as if people are NOT BUYING PlayStation3 so that they can instead BUY Xbox 360. Then buy a Wii and a DS and several rounds of lager with the leftover money.
THE SUMMARY: Price cuts make things sell more. Xbox 360 is doing much better in the UK now, and it's always been doing pretty well in the UK anyway. And PlayStation3 is doing much worse. The battle for distant second place behind Nintendo is not over yet!
