Rocketbowl, Samurai Shodown II, and Shotest Shogi on XBLA tomorrow

rocketbowl.jpgA trio of games are due out on XBLA tomorrow, with RocketBowl and Shotest Shogi going for 800 Microsoft points and Samurai Shodown 2 going for 400 Microsoft points.

If you're a fan of SNK's King of Fighters series, it might be worth giving 2D brawler Samurai Shodown a shot. Still, given that the much better Streetfighter series is available online, it's difficult to recommend unless you're a big beat 'em up fan. RocketBowl looks pretty much as you'd expect, allowing you to bowl through both courses and at a standard bowling alley using -you guessed it- a rocket propelled ball. Finally Shotest Shogi is apparently based on the Chess-like Japanese board game of the same name, and will feature tutorials that'll help you learn to play it. All in all, not a bad week.
