Banjo Kazooie on XBLA November 26th
It's been confirmed that Banjo Kazooie will be arriving on November 26th. It'll set you back 1200 Microsoft Points, but you should be able to get it for free two weeks ahead of the release date if you pre-order the upcoming Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. Apparently, we'll see Banjo Kazooie's N64 sequel, Banjo Tooie, appear sometime next year.
I'm rather looking forward to Rare's next outing. The UK based developer's had its up and downs on the Xbox 360, with some shockingly mediocre fare (Perfect Dark Zero) and some genuinely original and entertaining stuff (Viva Pinata). So far, it looks like they succeed when they try and do something a bit different, they suceed. Perfect Dark Zero and Kameo were both pretty unremarkable genre pieces, neither containing anything that revolutionary or exciting. Viva Pinata on the other hand was utterly nuts, but all the better for it. Nuts and Bolts is quite a departure from previous entries in the series, putting vehicle-based gameplay front and centre. It's different, which is a good sign.
