New shots of Final Fantasy XIII, Xbox 360's hot new game

Great, another game we have to pretend to be excited about. Now that Square's stunned the world and gone multi-format with its golden goose, we're all going to have to start pretending we're keen on sitting through 60-hours of tedious, sub-Hollyoaks, dramatic nonsense featuring the standard collection of Japanese video game cliches.

Can't wait. At least it'll look pretty.

This batch of new FFXIII shots can be found over at Strategy Informer. They're exactly what you'd imagine them to look like, and would appear to be have been poorly scanned from a Japanese magazine or captured from a YouTube video, so if you're on a capped broadband package you might want to save the bandwidth for something a bit more interesting.
