EIF 2008: EndWar DLC planned

EW_LOGO.jpg.jpgSpeaking at EIF, Ubisoft confirmed the not entirely surprising news that we can expect to see downloadable content appear for voice-driven strategy game EndWar. When asked whether DLC was planned, Shanghai studio content director Julien Gerighty responded "Yup. I'm a big believer in this working for a long time online. It was actually developed as a multiplayer game first...Downloadable content is definitely something that we're looking for."

"At the moment in the game, we have 40 territories spread over the Atlantic theatre of war, so East coast of the States, New York, Washington, Cape Canaveral, those areas. Europe you'll have Paris, England, Spain, La Mancha, different places there, and Russia. There are four modes- Raid, Assault, Conquest, and Sabotage. Four different cooperative players are possible. ."

"On top of that we're going to have more features, more maps, more units, things like that."

End War's due for release in mid-October.
