A quiet week for XBLA releases- Crosswords, Sudoku, Puzzle Quest price cut

crosswords-image08-bg4-easy_PNG_jpgcopy.jpgI guess that with all the E3 excitement and related content going onto Xbox Live, Xbox Live Arcade has been overlooked. This week sees the release of Coffeetime Crosswords. Featuring more than 150 puzzles at various skill levels, it even supports two player co-op play via Xbox Live. Which probably appeals to someone out there. At least they didn't try to market it as Cofeetime Crosswords HD.

Of slightly more interest is the news that the surprisingly well reviewed "Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords" has just joined the Arcade Hits selection, which means that we'll see a permanent price reduction to 800 points. Oh, and there's a "Buku Sudoko" pack going for free, which provides 1,200 extra puzzles for free. Oh well, at least we've got that Too Human demo to distract us for a bit.
