UK newspaper shame - The Mirror catches up with "Red Ring of Doom" situation
Today's Daily Mirror features a SHOCK story about Xbox 360. The shock that some machines break and require replacement. The Mirror is reporting this like it's new news.
The newspaper reports that the green lights on the console turn red, locking up the system and forcing users to send the console back to Microsoft for repair or replacement. This will, so it is said, cost Microsoft £500m - or $1bn.
Well done, The Mirror. It only took you 18 months to unearth a story every Xbox 360 owner knows about that's already been fixed. Astonishingly poor mainstream reportage.
