Speaking at the Microsoft E3 press conference, Square Enix boss Yoichi Wada has just confirmed the unconfirmable - Final Fantasy XIII will come to Xbox 360. There aren't enough exclamation marks in the world.

Final Fantasy XIII will now be a simultaneous release on PS3 and Xbox 360, in the Western world. This is the biggest videogaming news of the century so far. Here's an image of an FFXIII character looking a bit bewildered.

The RPG series is PlayStation to the core, ever since Final Fantasy VII rocked the planet. The game defecting from PS3 is a stunning shock that will send the gaming world into meltdown. It doesn't matter what Sony announces at E3 - it's all over for PS3 now. Seriously.
