So the new, amazing, innovative and brilliant feature that is installing games to hard drive will be coming to Xbox 360 this Autumn - but is it actually worth it?

According to Microsoft, a full install will take around 10 minutes, then reduce your loading times by something like 30% while playing the game. Sounds good, especially as the entire internet made such a big deal about the PS3 version of Devil May Cry taking over 20 minutes to install to PS3's hard drive.

Best of all, though, is the glorious silence Xbox 360 HD installs will bring - the whirring noise Xbox 360 makes is the DVD drive spinning. Installs will knock that right on the head. Imagine being able to hear the words and music while playing. It'll be like having your ears syringed.
