No "spring update" for Xbox 360, but there will be some tweaks...
There will not be the usual springtime clean of Xbox 360's dashboard this year, but we will instead see a few changes and modifications and general housekeeping of the online business.
Microsoft is stripping some of the older (more rubbish, lower selling and poorly reviewed) games from the Xbox Live Arcade listings (bye bye, Frogger) and is upping the maximum price games can cost - from 1200 points to 1600, which is around £14, depending on where you buy your points from.
Happily, MS is also releasing a "tool" that will let you tweak the DRM of any Arcade downloads you have, so, if you're on your second, third or sixth console, you'll be able to play your Arcade games without being signed into Xbox Live.
The changes should start appearing over the next month or two - although the 1600 price limit has already been introduced much to the benefit of the Penny Arcade game.
