Prisoner files lawsuit against GTA
A clearly sane prison inmate has filed a temporary restraining order against Grand Theft Auto IV.
Jonathon Lee Riches, a convicted fraudster (and Karl Pilkington clone) currently residing in FCI Williamsburg Medium Security prison, has filed suit against Rockstar, Take Two, the prison and - most tellingly - the game GTA IV itself claiming that [the defendants] "put me in prison".
Among Riches complaints is the charge that GTA contains scenes of sex, drugs and violence which 'offends' him and that the games encouraged him to commit identity theft.
Riches adds that, "I face imminent danger from violent inmates who played Grand Theft Auto who will knock me out and take my gold Jesus cross."
To be fair, that does sound like it would make a good downloadable mission.
This is not the first time Riches has filed such charges. Last year he sued dog fighting scumbag NFL quarterback Michael Vick for "$63,000,000,000 billion dollars" which, unless I am mistaken, is more money that actually exists.
Riches is yet to successfully see one of his lawsuits trough to completion, so it is unlikely any of the defendants will be losing much sleep, however.
