Nintendo copied Microsoft first - MS invented motion controls back in 1998
Here's a little look at an old Microsoft invention - the Sidewinder Freestyle Pro MOTION CONTROLLER.
Yes, that's right! It would appear that SHADY and UNDERHAND Nintendo copied the idea of motion controls from Microsoft, thanks to the INNOVATIVE version of the SideWinder that came out for PC in 1998. Yes, you read me, 1998 - that's eight years before Wii arrived with its shameful rip-off of Microsoft's technology.
So there you go. Proof that Nintendo's entire modern-day success is down to copying an old Microsoft controller from 1998. Nintendo's main innovation, it would seem, is changing the colour from black to white.

Dude that is a two handed controller without a pointer whatsoever. It was also a failure. The innovation on the Wii remote is not its accelerometers as everyone already knows those were around forever, and could have been used by any company). The innovation in the Wii remote is the concept, with its main idea being the shape, one-handed nature, and appeal to non-gamers. Any technology can be traced back to something else in technical terms but not always in visionary terms, for example the power glove can also be considered a base technology for the Wii remote as can be that Kirby game on the Game Boy which also used accelerometers.

Guys, I'm pretty sure that was a joke and not serious.. but regardless, if you had to make a comparison, you could say that Sony ripped it off with their Sixaxis controller (which kinda failed as well).

You are an idiot. Tilt controllers have been around since the late 80's. I don't want to hear it.
