GTA Rumour Watch: Xbox DLC to feature whole new city?
Gosh. Crikey. Jings. etc. If the latest GTA rumours are to be believed (and what else are rumours for, I ask you?) then the Xbox-exclusive downloadable content might be a bit more than the expected handful of missions and amusing cutscenes and might explain why Microsoft rummaged down the back of Bill Gates' sofa for a purported $50 million to secure the platform exclusivity.
The print version of CVG recently ran a GTA/Rockstar piece that featured this interesting snippet:
"[GTA IV DLC] are to GTA IV what Vice City or San Andreas were GTA III. Yes, Rockstar is clearly hinting at new downloadable cities; and the chances of them being London, Vice City or SA again are slim to none. So that's new as in brand new. GTA IV's Liberty City is the beginning. Think about that and be excited."
What this seems to be saying (at least, what everyone who doesn't own, sell or manufacture PS3 consoles is hoping it is saying) is that lucky 360-owning gamers are going to get not just a few scrappy downloadable missions, but an entirely new city to tool around and rob cars in.
PS3 owners, on the other hand, may get the use of some kind of official counselling helpline or perhaps a 3D group therapy simulator that really shows off the capabilities of PlayStation Home.

I wonder if I should even post here anymore. I think you guys are harsh on the ps3 for one reason only and thats to get post so this will be my last post here I recomend everyone else does the same. Everyone knows this site really is a joke, might as well just stop posting mabey these stupid comments about ps3 will stop from this site and talk about the 360 like your not wanting something else that bad you need to keep telling your self diffrent???? just mabey???? lmao. Cmon guys, it's obviously not going to be a whole city and microsoft are so desperate and pathetic enough to want more customers that they have told all these shitty sites to post that it is. They are spreading filthy rumours around and I'm ashamed to own an xbox 360. Luckily i also has a ps3 ;).

the dlc is what ps3 is getting. microsoft said that they would get dlc, they didnt mention that it would be exclusive. what i mean is the ps3 has blu-ray (50 gb) xbox has standard disks (7-9 gb) possibly the ps3 is getting everything but rockstar couldnt fit everything into one disk and so they put the extra missions onto dlc.
