Endemol TV Licenses coming to XBox 360

noel-main.jpgDutch TV behemoth Endemol is planning to bring some of its tv franchise hits into the world of casual gaming via XBox Live Arcade and has even set up an internal development studio based in LA.

Endemol is best known in the UK for Big Brother and Noel Edmond's magical-thinking-based skill-free gameshow Deal Or No Deal - both of which would make great video games (in fact, DOND is already several videogames on a load of different platforms. The one I saw in an Australian arcade replaces Edmonds with several bikini-clad young ladies - a distinct improvement). How there isn't already a Big Brother themed expansion pack for The Sims is beyond me.

That's not all that Endemol have to offer, of course. Putting aside the two big cash cows, who could seriously argue with first person shooter set on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition's building site or a Square-style RPG of Gay, Straight or Taken?
