FREE STUFF ALERT - GAME giving away GamerPics and 500 MS Points when you pre-order GTA IV
If ever a game's worth pre-ordering just to be on the safe side come launch day, it's a new Grand Theft Auto. Even if you're not a fan it's worth getting one - eBay values of San Andreas rocketed in the days after its launch, as every shop in the UK ran out of stock when GTA fever fully kicked in.
If you want to ensure a copy of GTA IV on Day One, a pre-order at a "bricks & mortar" establishment is definitely the way to go.
You really don't want to be standing there on Saturday morning, desperately pleading with the post man to have just one more look in his bag to see if there's a Jiffy bag with your name on it, because customer services at SUPERDISCOUNTTRADERS.COM just promised you that your order shipped four days ago. You want GTA IV in your hands on launch day. And a piece of paper in your wallet right now saying that's going to happen.
So in order to save yourself from scrabbling around eBay and paying twice the retail price for a copy from someone like me, make sure you order one. UK unit-shifter GAME is, literally, giving away 500 MS Points and four GTA IV GamerPics when you pre-order the game. Seeing as everyone's going to do that anyway, GAME is, literally, giving you some money for free.
Sorry, this post reads like an advert for GAME. It isn't. Other video game retailers also exist and are no doubt equally gagging for your GTA IV money. Try going into HMV and seeing if it'll give you a free t-shirt for pre-ordering. Bet it will. Or a hat. Or at least a key ring.
