Bioshock publisher Take-Two confessed publicly to the existence of Bioshock 2 yesterday, telling financial people that the game's on the way in "fiscal Q4 2009" - which, we're fairly sure, is serious business speak for Autumn.

There's not much more to say than that, really. 2009's so far away that we don't even have any concept art to illustrate the story with. No one's confirmed anything about it - although there was that rumour/guess a while back that the sequel would actually be a prequel.

So feel free to start your own rumours about Bioshock 2. No one will be able to prove you wrong for at least a year. Here are a few rumours we've made up just this second to be getting on with:

-Development sources have told us it'll be set on MARS

-Instead of underwater, Bioshock 2 will be set over OVER LAND

-Bungie has been a bit quiet lately... could it be working on BIOSHOCK 2?
