Another thing to stick on the NOT FAIR list - Microsoft US is giving away trips to New York as it kicks off the GTA IV promotional push with 'GTA IV Sweepstakes'.

All you (Americans) have to do is input your GamerTag on a web site. That's it. Winners are then plucked out at random and given free stuff. It seems a ridiculous way of burning up a bit of Microsoft and Rockstar's valuable cash, but there you go. Funny things happen when GTA games come out. People go crazy. Mad. Insane.

Runner-up prizes include two thousand Rockstar baseball bats, several thousand bundles of free Microsoft Points and thousands more free Xbox Live Gold subscriptions. All for free.

All of which means nothing to us. Apart from being a clear warning that, with only two months to go, Take 2, Rockstar and Microsoft are preparing to push GTA IV harder and bigger and further down your throat than any other game in history.
