I know that this is an xbox site so I am not expecting much compansion from it's contributors.

The problem is NOT the PS3. The problem is the the DEVELOPERS who have not devoted enough time to make games properly on the PS3. Those who have taken the time have produced great games that are Multiplatform (COD4, DMC4, Burnout).

This site is a little too arrogant over a nearly obsolete computer with a high failure rate. Thank god it doesn't run windows, it would probably implode.

My first impression of the test review I have performed revealed that the framerate is good, the controller accuracy is no different that that of Xbox and , the graphics contrast and details are much better in PS3. It is a decent porting of the game. Just like the xbox version, this game gives you the thrill of the campaign mode once and after that, no more thrill, in other word, just rent the game. The what if situation of which game is better than which can be compare to heavenly sword, if I were to port that game to Xbox, the xbox do not have the capability to produce such a heavenly sight.

Just ignore everubody first impression including the above comment and wait for the official reviewed from a reputable game review site.

It also come with all of the down-loadable PC exclusive content that 360 owners never got a sniff of. Lost Planet is crap anyway so the fact that its a lazy port doesnt really matter in any way shape or form. The best thing about this game though is that its another exclusive lost just like Dead Rising and Just Cause. I think that leaves the 360 with about 8 lol.

People should be aware however that this review is from 1up who are basically up Bill Gates arse. They are the idiots who said The Orange Box on the PS3 was 'totally unplayable' but every single other person in the world who has played it just says its slightly worse.

We all know it and the time will come where the PS3 fans won't have to play these crappy ports and will enjoy games only playable on the PS3 because of it's storage capacities, oh yeah and the fact that it has EIGHT cell processors in it an not just two like the 360. This really isn't news. Like most xbox original exclusives lost planet is not a good game. It wasn't well made to begin with. No one cares wether it runs well on the ps3 because no one cares about that game. I played it on the xbox and it sucked from a technical programming stand point and now your suprised that its sucking on ps3? WOOPDY FRICKEN DOOO!!!! You could throw that game in a super comp and its still going to run like shit.

There are three cores in the 360, not two. There are indeed eight in the PS3. However, only 6 of those 8 are actually free for games, and it's not like we're seeing anything super duper amazing being done with them. It's funny you forget to notice that even with three more magical cores available the games are still pretty much neck and neck with the 360's "puny" three cores.

This only goes to show that Crapcom engineers do not have the skills to handle the power of the Cell and Blue Ray. They should just stop developing for the PS3 until they get their acts together. The sophistication of the PS3 is not for everyone. Only top-level programmers are worthy to program for teh PS3. All that power comes at a price, and Crapcom has failed its loyal fans everywhere.

So let me start something new.... Microsofts new project.... Has anyone heard the rumors of the online merging with p3 and 360?? and how sega is buying rights to logitech controllers that microsoft now owns?? How Rare is in development on sega games but they are a microsoft 360 exclusive game developer?? I personally think it is awesome!! Cause microsoft has been talking about how they plan to be strickly download and software! And I think that if Sega and Microsoft would merge and make a Dreambox(xbox 1080(code name)). I would trade my p3 and my sony fanboyism in with it towards this brilliant piece of machinery!! I mean I am a sega fanboy at heart they were just to far before their time! I love Sega but 2 things piss me off about microsoft I bought a 360 at launch and had three in a year (rrod). 2 the games are kinda lame. I love Gears, Bioshock, and Dead rising but thats about all. My p3 games look way better than their counterparts on the 360... and I like the p3 controller ten times better... I HATE THE BUMPERS!!!
