US CHRISTMAS SALES: Microsoft sells 1.26m, boasts, produces graph as PROOF

Disclaimer: Wii is destroying everything. And laughing about it.

But in the much more exciting race for second place, Xbox 360 managed to hammer PlayStation3 during December in America. Xbox 360 sold 1.26 million consoles, while PS3, poor, price-cut, desperate PS3, managed to sell 797,000. That's a disaster for Sony in PS3's second Christmas on sale in the US and after its price cut, no doubt about it.

Microsoft was so happy about this situation, it made a graph proving how it's consistently beating PS3. Stick THIS on your blogs, Sony fans.

Microsoft also celebrated taking in more money than anyone else - even Nintendo - last year, with Xbox 360 raking in $4.8 billion in total consumer spend during 2007. Wii managed $3.5 billion and PS3 $2.2 billion. That's 45% of all gaming money going on Xbox 360.
