Goldeneye 64, Original Perfect Dark coming to XBLA?

rare_logo_rgb_paths_layers_psd_jpgcopy.jpgLatest internet rumour has it that Goldeneye 64, the original good perfect dark and Banjo-Kazooie are all headed toward for XBLA, according to "very reliable sources" cited on Xbox Evolved. Am I only one who'd like to see a re-issue of classic Jet Force Gemini? In any case, whether the rumour proves true or not, 2008's looking more and more like the year that XBLA's going to come onto its own.

With Rez HD on the way, as well as Ikaruga, Omega Five out today, XBLA's beginning to feature more than just ports of 80s arcade games. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that Live-enabled Goldeneye would be fantastic. Few developers have managed to match the cinematic intensity of Rare at their finest, and a XBLA re-release of arguably their best stuff, especially with some redone graphics, would go down very well indeed. More on this as we get it.
