Jeff Minter is ANGRY WITH YOU about Space Giraffe's sales
Poor old Jeff. The bearded developer has LASHED OUT at gamers across the world, saying he's lost his motivation to make games in the wake of Space Giraffe's clearly rather poor sales.
Jeff's particularly bewildered by the way crusty old arcade game Frogger outsold his new Space Giraffe by TEN TIMES on Xbox Live Arcade last week, triggering the following primal scream from puzzled Mr Minter:
"Not seeing a lot of reason to continue even trying to make games, at this point, when a remake of Frogger, one of the worst games in the history of old arcade games, can outsell Space Giraffe that we put so much love and effort into, by more than ten to one, in one week.
"OK, we get the message. All you want on that channel is remakes of old, shite arcade games and crap you vaguely remember playing on your Amiga. We'll shut up trying to do anything new then. Sorry for even trying."
The quote is taken from Jeff's LiveJournal page, which we're not going to link to as that seems like the sort of invasion of privacy the poor, confused old man wouldn't like and would view as an attack. And he's already clearly hurting enough.

"give up trying to do anything new?"
So he's annoyed that nobody bought "Tempest 6: Now you can't see shit"?
He should've possibly made it so people can see, you know, those minor details like bullets and enemies instead of the 12 layers of trippy bollocks he threw on the top of it.
