Actress Kristen Bell of Veronica Mars fame has lent her voice and likeness to a character in Assassin's Creed, whose "mysterious role is an important part of the game’s intricate storyline." I'm guessing that she'll have something to do with the (minor spoiler warning) mooted sci-fi elements of the plot.

Especially for more plot drive games, it's normally a pleasant surprise to see Hollywood talent sign on. While awful voice acting's got its own charm (can you imagine the Resident Evil series without the mind-bendingly cheesy acting), a good cast really help deliver a convincing plot. Case in point- the fantastic voice cast behind The Darkness.
