BioWare, Lucasarts making new game. No points for guessing it'll be Star Wars related

BWWordLogo_eps_jpgcopy.jpgBioware’s collaborating with Lucasarts to create an “interactive entertainment product.” I think that means they’re making a game together. Nothing’s been revealed yet, with details promised at a later date. Going out on a rather sturdy limb, I suspect that another Star Wars RPG is on the way.

OK, most movie franchises get lumbered with awful, awful games, and Star Wars hasn’t completely avoided the license curse, with some rather dodgy tie-in games made for the non-event prequel trilogy. To be fair though, the Star Wars extended universe has thrown out some great titles, like Republic Commando, Empire at War, and KOTOR. I’m looking forward to seeing how BioWare improve on KOTOR. I’m hoping for some kind of morality system that has grades of ethics between cape-wearing, moustache twizzling evil doer and Superman-esque do-gooding.
