Sony caught out on Halo 3 Wiki Page

red%20hand.jpgSony have done an "EA" and been caught red handed changing the Wikipedia page for Halo 3! Someone at Sony Liverpool has been editing the Halo 3 page making reference to how poor the graphics will be. Unfortunately for the poor guy the Wiki tracking system allows users to track back alterations using the IP address of the computer used.

The exact same system was used to catch out someone at Electronic Arts when all the negative comments about the company started being edited out from their Wiki page.

We all know there is no hiding on the internet so why do big companies keep trying to subtly alter our minds with these guerrilla PR efforts. Having said that this sort of thing has been going on within those retail sites that allow user reviews for years! "Yes! This really is the best thing since sliced bread! Honest!"
