Microsoft hand out huge ban - Halo 3 Epsilon gate crasher banned from Live til 9999

halo3-1.jpgWhile the recent 24 hour ban from Live for sneaky gamers who made their way on to the Call of Duty 4 beta seemingly not that big a deal, it seems Microsoft are much more protective over Halo 3.

Two gamers who managed to gate crash their way on to the Halo 3 Epsilon closed beta test have discovered that they’ve been banned from Live. Not for a mere 24 hours unfortunately, but until the year 9999.

The pair posted over at the official Xbox forums, eager for help, but only found relatively sarcastic gamers happy to reply.

Harsh? Well, yes, certainly. But it certainly proves that Microsoft aren’t going to sit idly by as gamers divulge all the secrets their new big hitting title is hiding away. Wonder what Xbox revision we’ll be on in the year 9999 anyway…
