Lost Odyssey will be a bit on the large side

lost-odyssey-size.jpgThe upcoming RPG from (yes, we're going to mention this fact AGAIN) Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi's Mistwalker studio, will, as you might expect from a Japanese RPG, be quite big.

So big, in fact, that the game's vast collection of CG cut-scenes will require a ludicrous FOUR DVDs to fit it all on. We're not sure current DVD box manufacturing standards allow for four discs to be contained within one case, so there might even be some sort of special, double-hinged, or even fold-out DVD case required to ferry the discs safely from Play.com to your living room carpet.

My Sakaguchi also told IGN how big he reckons the game's challenge is going to be. You're looking at 40-50 hours of what a certain sector of gaming society considers fun.

Big mistake to not include HDDVD standard, 4 disks is just ridicule!
Is it going to cost more because of it??
