STOP EVERYTHING: Bioshock demo on Xbox Live NOW

Bioshock-demo.jpgThe undersea art-deco world of Bioshock can be explored, now, for free, as long as you've got an ugly cable going from your Xbox 360 to your modem.

The demo, which went live on Sunday and was clearly the makers' surprise announcement, is a brief insight into the gloomy, broken, underwater hell world Bioshock takes place in, but it at least shows you the full glory of the game's cinematic presentation and stunning looks.

And don't worry about spoilers while playing - nothing is revealed that we didn't already know. It's a brief glimpse, but is all we need to know Bioshock's going to kick our arses well into 2008 when it comes out here on August 24.
