Mass Effect has a European release date now...

mass-effect-release-date.jpgAnd it's... November 23. The BioWare-developed space adventure is the last piece in Microsoft's Christmas 2007 jigsaw to fall into place.

There's the early assault of Halo 3 (Sept 26), the flanking attack of Project Gotham 4 for non-shooters (October 12), then the massed ranks of all the hot third-party stuff like Call of Duty 4, all the EA sports/driving games, Army of Two and maybe even Assassin's Creed if that actually turns out to be any good, all arriving to further push Xbox 360 to the fore this Chrimbo.

It's odd, though, that a game with as much potential as Mass Effect seems to be getting overlooked. It's the new RPG from BioWare, kids! If it's anything like as good as Knights of the Old Republic we could be looking at a Bioshock-sized surprise smash hit.
