Is Microsoft "pulling a Sony" with UK price cut denial?

bargain-bucket.jpgMicrosoft has today said it's not currently planning a UK price cut for Xbox 360, and it is "very happy" with how things are going right now over here.

In a statement issued to boring US game fact site Next-Generation, a UK Microsoft source pointed out that they "have no plans to make any changes at this time".

However, if you've got a memory that hasn't been destroyed by years of drinking and mild/recreational drug use, you'll remember that Sony issued an identical denial a mere three days before announcing a PS3 price cut for America.

So don't believe anything game company employees ever say, basically.

With mounting evidence pointing toward price cuts for mainland Europe and the States, it'd be a right old PR disaster if the UK is denied an equal Xbox 360 price reduction.

We, for one, shall kick up a right fuss about it, possibly even going so far as to start up an internet petition.
