Halo 3 Xbox 360 priced, dated

H3_360goose2.jpgWith Mountain Dew cans, action figures and collectable helmets, the franchise juggernaut that is Halo 3 is rolling on. One of the more straightforward promotions, a Halo 3 themed Xbox 360, is due to go on sale in the US this September. It’ll set you back $399, coming with all of the trimmings that you’d expect from an Xbox 360 premium, such as wireless controllers and a 20GB hard drive, but will also come with an HDMI output and a play and charge pack.

No news on whether we’ll ever get to see this one appear in Europe, other than courtesy of eBay. It’s a bit of a shame that the hard drive isn’t a bit bigger, seeing as how the included hard drive cunningly co-ordinates with the rest of the console in green and orange. Especially with all of the demo content coming out on Live, not to mention the rumours of hard drive needy games on the way, 20GB just isn’t going to be enough for some people.
