Halo 3 goes Gold

halo3-1.jpgGood news all you Halo fanatics, and lovers of stunning shoot-em-up action. Halo 3 has today been confirmed as ‘gone Gold.’ Which in layman’s terms means simply that the game is 100% finished in development, and the game code itself has been sent off to be duplicated millions upon millions of times in time to get on our shop shelves on 25th September.

Head of Bungie Studios, Harold Ryan, stated that, “This is a huge milestone for us and a big cause for celebration at Bungie and Microsoft Game Studios. This is the game we’ve always wanted to make and certainly the best game our studio has developed. We can’t wait for gamers to get their hands on it on Sept. 25.”

With records already set with Halo 3 officially the fastest preordered game history, with over a million preorders in the US alone, we can now sleep easy and not worry about any potential mishaps that might have caused yet another delay in what’s surely going to be Bungie’s ultimate masterpiece.
