EA prioritizing the Xbox 360 over the PS3
Speaking to the Bits New York Times blog, EA company spokesman Jeff Brown revealed why Xbox 360 titles get released before their PS3 counterparts. As you might guess, in large part it’s a straightforward financial decision. As the game nears completion, EA sometimes has to focus resources on one version for one console, as resources are limited. Naturally, it makes more sense to focus on the Xbox 360 in financial terms, as a quick glance over at vgchartz.com will attest.
OK, so with EA Chief Executive John Ricitiello criticising samey sequels, can we expect to see any more original releases from the games publishing monolith? Well, it’s no surprise to hear that we’re going to get the lots of sports titles, with Madden NFL 2008, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 and NHL ’08 on the way. But there are a few original titles coming in the near future that look really rather promising. Army of Two ‘s out in November, with SKATE out in September. Rock Band’s yet to be given a firm release date. So, are we going to see a few of these on the Xbox 360 first?

PS3 fanboys listen up. From now we ain't gonna buy any EA games. I know I won't, luckily I didn't buy Madden 08. Why we want buy shitty games for PS3 when pay same price as 360. EA trying say us PS3 fanboys are stupid. Boycot their ass until EA say sorry.

Come on PS3 fanboys what is the big deal? So what Sony lied and you bought it the differences between the PS3 and the 360 are not that major. Hell from what I've seen you guys paid $200 more for crappy ports of some good games. I mean Madden 08 is awesome, Rainbow 6 awesome, Virtual Fighter 5 decent (much better with online though. Stop your petitioning and grow up your not hurting EA their aren't that many of you guys yet. Not to mention they might drop publishing for your console altogether if they don't see a point to it. Just follow Sony's advice and keep waiting one day it will be a good console until then its a dvd player that runs up your electric bill enjoy. Sucker

This should be known to all regardless what platform you may be a fan of: The XBOX 360 is the dominant platform for a developer...period!!!
Easier to program for then the PS3 as mentioned over and over again by just about every major developer. On a totally different level of quality then the WII which is basically a glorified Gamecube with a special controller. And with Vista the 360 is able to allow gaming with the 100 million plus computer users, meaning that the install base of computers may as well be included in the tally of 360 sales.
The console war is over people!! Regardless what hardcore gamers argue back and forth...the developers have already made the decision for you. The XBOX 360 RULES!!!
