Developers deny rumour of another Mass Effect delay

MassEffect.jpgHugely anticipated Bioware RPG Mass Effect is rumoured to have slipped to a release on 7th December 2007, from its original dating of November. However, Chris Priestly, who acts as the “community man” for the title, has denied any kind of delay, and states on the official forums that a release date of sometime in November is still firmly on the button.

But with retailers already making their pre-ordered customers aware of the release date slip, could this just be a case of Priestly being out of the loop?

Winning numerous “Game of the Show” awards back at the 2006 E3, many gamers are amazingly excited about some more RPG goodness from the talented people who brought us Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. A mere months delay doesn’t exactly fill me with too much despair, as it’s still out pre-Christmas, and it gives me a little more time with Halo 3 and Bioshock before I lose myself in a hugely complex RPG.
