Call of Juarez demo goes Live

callofjuarezpcc_scrn20088.1.jpgShooter Call of Juarez has gotten a demo outing on Xbox Live. The demo weighs in at 709 megabytes and is available right now. The game’s a western, allowing you to play as two characters- young fugitive Billy Candle and his pursuer Reverand Ray. The title’s mix of action and stealth went down resonably well, netting a solid 71 on review aggregator site Metacritic.

I missed this one on release and I’m looking forward to giving the demo a go. Mixing action-based and stealth gameplay is sometimes a difficult proposition, with few games managing to get both sides right, but from what I’ve heard, Call of Juarez does a pretty good job . The plot device of being able to play both pursued and pursuer is a nice touch.
