Xbox 360 owners throw the money about

xbox360-loaded.jpgMicrosoft's analysis of the sales situation has reached a new high - graphs! You cannot argue with a good graph.

This graph here shows how much money US customers have spent on games and hardware since last November. Despite PS3 launching at something like 50 trillion dollars and Wii getting all the praise, gamers out there have spent more money on Xbox 360 - thanks to its much wider selection of games.

Quoting a 6:1 attach rate - six games bought by each 360 owner - MS is very happy with how things have gone so far. See more HOT GRAPHS confirming this great news for shareholders over at Gamerscore Blog, which features very interesting (really) graphs that show hardware and games sales for all three next-gen formats. We all love a good graph.
